9th Annual VGNP Poetry Contest Rules Announced for Submission of Poems!

Poets interested in participating in the Plaza's Ninth Annual Poetry Contest, may start to submit their entries. Please take note that the deadline date for submissions is Friday, January 25, 2019. Submissions can be hand delivered to Village Hall during normal business hours, Mon. through Fri., from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., or mailed to Village of Great Neck Plaza, Village Hall, 2 Gussck Plaza, P.O. Box 440, Great Neck, NY 11022-0440, so long as it’s postmarked by January 25, 2019. Click the link below for more details.

Official 9th Annual VGNP Poetry Contest Flyer

  • December 3rd, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Inn at Great Neck, 30 Great Neck Road, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Ring in the holidays with the Inn at Great Neck's annual tree lighting ceremony. The event is open to any and all, and rumor has it that a special fella from the North Pole will be stopping in for the festivities.
  • December 3rd, Menorah Lighting Ceremony, Great Neck Chamber of Commerce Kiosk, 6 p.m.
  • December 5th & 19th, Board of Trustees Meetings, Village Hall, 8 p.m.
  • December 20th, First Quarter Parking Permit Renewal/Purchase Period Begins 
  • December 25th, Christmas Day, **Please note, in observance of the holiday, Village Hall will be closed.**  
  • December 31st, New Year's Eve
