When:INVITATION FOR BIDDERS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the sealed bids will be received by the Village of Great Neck Plaza
Superintendent of Building Department located at Village Hall, 2 Gussack Plaza, Great Neck, N.Y.
11021 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened
and read aloud and the contract awarded as soon thereafter as practicable for:
GREAT NECK PLAZA BARSTOW BRIDGE SIDEWALK REHABILITATION
LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF GREAT NECK PLAZA, NY
{CONTRACT # 2022-002R}
The Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Building Department, Village Hall, 2 Gussack
Plaza, Great Neck Plaza, N.Y. upon non-refundable payment of $100.00 in cash or check payable
to Village of Great Neck Plaza for each set. The Bidding Documents are available beginning
Friday, August 5, 2022 between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:30 pm (Telephone: 516-482-4500)
Monday through Friday.
Each bid must be made on the Proposal form prepared for this work and in the manner designated
therein and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of no less than ten
percent (10%) of the gross amount of the bid. The bid shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed
envelope addressed to the Village clerk-treasurer of the Village of Great Neck Plaza and marked
on the outside with the name and address of the bidder, and the words "Bid for {GREAT NECK
PLAZA BARSTOW BRIDGE SIDEWALK REHABILITATION} - BID/CONTRACT# 2022-
002R".
The successful bidder must comply with all State and Federal Statutes relating to labor and
Workers' Compensation. Requests for information regarding this Invitation should be sent only in
writing via email to the Village Superintendent of Building (belzitir@greatneckplaza.net).
The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any informality in the
bids received, and to accept that bid which in its judgment best serves the interests of the Village.
