PUBLIC NOTICE: Roll-off Rubbish Container Service Contract

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Great Neck Plaza invites bids for supply, maintenance and emptying on demand of a 30 cubic yard roll off rubbish container to be placed in the Village's Department of Public works yard facility located at 2 Gussack Plaza, Great Neck, NY beginning May 1, 2025.

 

Information for bidders, proposals, bid bond requirements and contract forms may be obtained from the Village Clerk, 2 Gussack Plaza, Great Neck, NY beginning on Thursday, February 27, 2025. All bid proposals must be on the official forms obtained from the Village Clerk as aforesaid.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all bids must be sealed, marked "ROLL OFF BID", and submitted to the Village Clerk, 2 Gussack Plaza, Great Neck, NY on or before 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 (no later) at which time all bids so received will be publicly opened and read by the Village Clerk. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of Five-Hundred dollars ($500) or a bond with sufficient sureties in a similar amount, conditional that if the bidder's proposal is accepted, it will enter into a contract for such work and the he will furnish a performance bond with good and sufficient sureties and in the form satisfactory to the Village Board of Trustees equal to the total sum specified in the bid documents.
