CLASP provides both before and after-school care and after-camp summer programs for children of Great Neck's working parents. Full day, full year Early childhood Program for 2, 3, and 4 year-olds. The Inter-generational Program encourages shared activities between children and seniors.

COPAY is an out-patient non-profit agency dedicated to providing high quality professional medially managed service to families and individuals. The agency identifies and responds to the needs of the community. Programs and services provided include outpatient substance abuse counseling, family therapy, marital counseling, vocational assessment and training, academic tutoring, HIV supportive services, substance abuse education, psychiatric evaluation, parenting skills training, information and referrals. Everyone in need is welcome regardless of ability to pay.
The Gold Coast Arts Center established the school for the Arts in 1995. Classes in art, music, dance, theatre arts and film are offered to students of all ages during weekdays, evenings and weekends at the Arts Center. Their commitment to the community and the underprivileged in the community is the centerpiece of their earliest efforts and is now an established component of the Arts Centers agenda. Scholarships to students identified by the schools as financially in need are offered each semester in every department.

Great Neck Social Center is a multi-purpose center with programs for seniors over the age of 60 from Great Neck, Manhasset and North New Hyde Park in recreation, education and cultural activities. Counseling is available, as well as social services information and referrals. A hot nutritious lunch is served at noon, Monday through Friday, and a cold salad is also available for those who wish it. "It's a great place to meet new friends."

Founded in 1989, HACNH of North Hempstead, formerly HCGN, is a not for profit civic organization that provides multiple services, such as after school tutorial programs, cultural and civic events on an ongoing basis, referrals for employment, scholarships, and help with completing forms for immigration, citizenship, education translations and health-related issues. HACNH is a not-for-profit self-help group to encourage pride and loyalty among Hispanics and to facilitate assimilation and outreach in the community.

PATV is The Public Access TV Corporation's access station cablecasting on Channel 20 (Cablevision) and Channel 37 (Verizon) in the following incorporated villages of Great Neck/North Shore: Flower Hill, Great Neck, Great Neck Estates, Great Neck Plaza, Kensington, Kings Point, Lake Success, Munsey Park, North Hills, Plandome, Plandome Manor, Plandome Heights, Russell Gardens, Saddle Rock and Thomaston. PATV is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to promote and produce television programming of an educational, literary, cultural and civic nature. PATV aims to heighten community awareness and increase community participation through the making and viewing of local television, and to encourage programming to reflect the concerns, diversity, interests and activities of the community. PATV provides training, television equipment and studio facilities to residents of an incorporated village (membership and PATV training are necessary) of Great Neck and North Shore who wish to create non-commercial community programming for the cable channel. Funding for PATV is provided through cable television franchise fees, memberships and grants.
